Our job was to tell Australians there was an alternative to the big four: Customer Owned Banking.
We created a cheeky ‘anti-banking banking campaign’ that demonstrated how badly the other banks have been treating their customers, posing the question why we accept this kind of treatment from banks.
Because we didn’t have the expansive budgets of the big banks, we had to create work that stood out, that was memorable and that got people talking. Communicating a better way to bank through Customer Owned Banking. That’s why we delivered the serious subject matter in a tongue-in-cheek yet thought-provoking way. And it worked.
